As a recent BA history graduate, I decided to set up this blog to post about all of the aspects of history that I find interesting; if you hadn't guessed already, it's the Second World War! Predominately the home front.
The aim of this blog is to make posts about various topics that are either interesting or hold specific relevance to the day (or time period) in which they are posted.
I want to inform people about Wartime Britain without writing it in a complex format so that people of all ages can understand the topic and hopefully gain some new knowledge about British history.
Wartime Britain in the Second World War is a widely popular topic and I am aware that it has been covered so many times. However it is the area of history that I find most interesting. (To the point my undergraduate dissertation focused on this). So writing this brings me joy, allows me to practice my writing in a non-essay format, and hopefully brings some pleasure to those with a similar interest to myself!
